1. Did you find the book engaging?
Yes, i find the book engaging as it is a novel about a girl's journey toward heeling, and of the intrinsic sacredness of living in the worlds. It is a lovely novel.
2. What specific themes did the author emphasize throughout the novel? What do you think he or she is trying yo get across to the writer?
The author emphasizes a lot about bee's life at the top of each chapter's page.
3. Do the characters seem real and believable? Are you able to identify with them? To what extent do they remind you of yourself or someone you know?
The characters seem real and believable. I am able to identify with them. There is a character in the novel who reminds me of a friend who is very kind, helpful and understanding. She knows when I'm feeling down and she will try her best to cheer me up.
4. Did certain parts of the book make you uncomfortable? If so, why did you feel that way? Did this lead to a new understanding or awareness of some aspect of your life you might not have thought about before?
No.
5. What have you learnt from the book?
I have learnt that there is nothing perfect in the world but there is life. I have also learnt some parts of the bees' life.
